Proposal Management and Proposal Writing Training to Increase Your Skills

Tailored training solutions for your team

At BZ Opportunity Management, we know the best way to improve our partners’ proposals is by increasing the knowledge and skills of their own personnel. Our proposal training offerings provide tangible, applicable skills that can be used right away. We use a combination of traditional instruction and hand-on experience through scenarios tailored to your business to maximize applicability and retention.

We focus on providing Government proposal training options to help the GovCon community develop and retain the skills necessary to win. Our training focuses on helping develop real-world, applicable skills in critical bid lifecycle disciplines, including proposal writing training, proposal management training, solution development, and more.

All opportunity life cycle and proposal training courses are designed and delivered by BZ Opportunity Management’s chief executive, Kevin Switaj, PhD. Dr. Switaj has a background in adult instructional design in both academic and corporate environments. He has developed successful opportunity life cycle training options at multiple large and mid-sized companies. He is a well-respected expert in proposal development and regularly speaks and presents at industry events.

Kudos from our Training Participants

  • The most informative for me was the approach to building a proposal. As a novice, I like to learn a structure and then as I gain more experience, I tweak it to fit my personal style. Having a strong foundation is key and BZ laid it firmly. I also found the sales, empathetic, and technical writing portions very helpful. Understanding the subtle line of selling yourself, while caring for the client’s needs is a very hard thing to grasp, but I believe BZ may have it down to an exact science and he explained the technique flawlessly.

  • Kevin was excellent. People can tell when you’re just “teaching” and when you truly see the value in the knowledge that you’re passing on. Kevin brought energy and enthusiasm to his course, the likes of which I’ve only observed in a few professors throughout undergrad and grad school. Excellent course. Excellent instructor.

  • I really enjoyed Kevin’s training course! It was well structured, informative, and kept us engaged the entire time. I also appreciated how thorough he was in answering all our questions. Kevin really simplified the APMP foundation study guide and focused on the material that would be covered in the exam. I would definitely recommend this course to other proposal specialists looking to take the foundational exam.

  • BZ’s personal touch for training really helps make the content come alive and provides the basis for the team to achieve their professional development goals.

  • Kevin provided a clear, well planned, and engaging training session. His method of presentation was easy to follow and the content aligned with his expectations for attendees. It was very nice to see him employ best practices for education such as intermittent breaks. He offered plenty of room for feedback from listeners. Kevin did a wonderful job and I hope to take another course with him in the future.

  • I was a little worried about my knowledge and taking this certification, but you really touched on practical points and motivated me to look forward to all [APMP] certifications. Thank you!

  • Kevin kept the session engaging, fun, and easy to follow. Even though a lot of this is basic information for those who have been doing this for a while, it didn’t feel boring or monotonous. This was great! Thank you!

  • I’ve attended many trainings and have a Masters in Education and I must say Kevin is one of the best instructors I have had the pleasure of learning from. Wonderful!

  • Great job with the training! This was incredibly informative and helpful – this will definitely show dividends in our future proposal work.
